    yanmar-ef453t-1.jpgThe Yanmar was founded in Japan in 1912. The firm has a long history with small diesel engines. The agricultural equipment division of the company was started in 1961. Yanmar entered into an arragement with John Deere and began building several utility tractor models in the early 1980s for Deere. Yanmar continues to be an engine suppiler for Deere's utility tractors. "Grey-market" imported Yanmar tractors are popular in North America for their low cost and quality.
