    Chamberlain Tractor History

chamberlain/super-70-01.jpgChamberlain was formed in Welshpool, in western Australia in an old armament factory. In 1970, Deere & Company began an acquisition of Chamberlain, with Deere engines being used in some models. The new "Sedan 80" series in 1975 was heavily influenced by John Deere, and the 90 series, in 1985, were painted in John Deere green (although with the Chamberlain name). In 1986, Deere ceased tractor production at the Welshpool factory and began importing Deere tractors from other factories to Australia.
