 Original price was $10,000 in 1972 For the 1969 model year (serial number 123000), the John Deere 3020 featured a number of upgrades. Notable was a larger spark-ignition engine (gasoline and LP-gas) and the hydraulic controls were moved from the dash to the right side of the operator ("side console").
