Today's farmers are adopting new practices to gain every production advantage possible. To help address these needs, John Deere has updated its 8 Series Tractors for model year 2022 by building on a strong foundation of existing technology and offering new solutions with single-dealer support of specialized options. The 8 Series includes wheel 8R, two-track 8RT and four-track 8RX models.
The model year 2022 John Deere 9 Series Tractors have been enhanced to help today's farmers start earlier and run later to get their seeding, tillage, and planting work done within their optimal timeframe.
Field trials are in the final stages and by the first half of the year production units will be delivered to selected customers in Germany, France, Italy, the UK and the Benelux - all key markets for the T6 tractor where biogas production is advanced. The Methanepowered tractor will enter the New Holland range by the end of the year, and be available to all customers in Europe and other markets across the world. This development will further consolidate New Holland's undisputed competitive edge in alternative fuels solutions.
The Valtra A Series Tractors are going into their fifth generation. The tractor range is now available with many new features that have been requested by customers. New features include increased power, more power shift gears, and rear PTO controls.
John Deere, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment, and National Grid, an electricity, natural gas, and clean energy delivery company serving more than 20 million people throughout the Northeast, will joint test an electric backhoe concept. The John Deere developed, battery-powered, electric vehicle design - referred to as E-Power - will target the ease of operation and performance level of the diesel-powered, 100 HP 310L Backhoe. The design is intended to provide substantially lower daily operating costs, lower jobsite noise, enhanced machine reliability, and zero tailpipe emissions.
