Deere updates 6R Series Tractors

John Deere has updated its 6R Tractor lineup and added the new 6R140 and 6R165 models. The 6R 140 gives customers a fourth choice in the 110-to 140-horsepower small-frame class while the 6R 165 adds a third model to the mid-frame lineup of 145- to165-horsepower tractors. With power bulge and Intelligent Power Management, the 6R 140 and 6R 165 Tractors deliver up to 166 and 212 maximum horsepower in tough conditions such as heavy transport, PTO, or hydraulic applications.

Stanley acquires Hustler and Big Dog

Stanley Black & Decker announced on September 13 that it has entered into a agreement to acquire Excel Industries for $375 million in cash. Excel manufactures turf-care equipment under the Hustler and BigDog brands.

Stanley purchases MTD

Stanley Black & Decker announced that it has agreed to acquire the remaining 80 percent ownership stake in MTD Holdings Inc. ("MTD"), including Cub Cadet and Troy-Bilt, for $1.6 billion in cash. Stanley current owns the Craftsman brand. Stanley Black & Decker acquired a 20 percent stake in MTD in 2019.

TAFE launches Massey Ferguson 244 DI

TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, launched the Massey Ferguson 244 DI - Puddling Special tractors in the 44 hp range, for paddy cultivation. Yet another revolutionary product from TAFE, the Massey Ferguson 244 comes in two variants - The MF 244 DI PM with that excels in dry land or shallow puddling, and the MF 244 PD that works wonders with deep mud puddling. Launched for the Andhra Pradesh markets currently, the MF 244 is yet another customer-centric offering from TAFE that provides more power and greater value, while delivering high versatility, excellent performance, bigger savings and better productivity.

2021 Upgrades for Case IH Puma 150 and 165

Case IH is launching enhancements to its Puma series tractor lineup to provide operators with greater efficiency, convenience and operational flexibility. These updates include longer service intervals and new styling features for greater productivity and a more comfortable in-cab experience. Case IH announced updates to Puma models 185 to 240 in October 2020 - and now Puma models 150 and 165 incorporate these productivity-enhancing updates.

Fendt suspends tractor production due to supplier problems

Agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO/Fendt is suspending production at its Marktoberdorf and Asbach-Baumenheim sites for seven working days from April 22nd 2021.

Keestrack purchases Goldoni

Keestrack, a major manufacturer in mining, recycling and construction equipment finds a perfect fit with Goldoni, specialized in agricultural machinery, to enter the agricultural market and to grow even more in the construction segment.

Updated Deere 8R Series Tractors

Updated Deere 9 Series Tractors

The model year 2022 John Deere 9 Series Tractors have been enhanced to help today's farmers start earlier and run later to get their seeding, tillage, and planting work done within their optimal timeframe.

Methane New Holland T6 Tractors

Field trials are in the final stages and by the first half of the year production units will be delivered to selected customers in Germany, France, Italy, the UK and the Benelux - all key markets for the T6 tractor where bio-gas production is advanced. The Methanepowered tractor will enter the New Holland range by the end of the year, and be available to all customers in Europe and other markets across the world. This development will further consolidate New Holland's undisputed competitive edge in alternative fuels solutions.
