International Harvester 1066 tractor photo
1971 - 1976   66 Series
Row-Crop tractor
Next model:International Harvester 1086
Series next:International Harvester 1466
Series back:International Harvester Hydro 100

The hydrostatic drive 1066 Hydro was later renamed the Hydro 100. This was due to confusion over drawbar horsepower. The hydrostatic drive took a lot of power to operate, and the 1066 Hydro had much less power than a gear-driven 1066. Torque Amplifer (TA) was optional. The 1066 engine was altered in 1973 to increase horsepower.
