Mahindra announces new compact utility tractors

Mahindra announced four new compact utility tractor models for the North American market and upgrades to models the Max series subcompact tractor line. The new models are the Mahindra 1526 and Mahindra 2538, each with transmission and cab options. The Max series 22 and 25 models feature upgrade hydraulics and body components.

The company launched its Mahindra 2538 line with two models. It comes with hydrostatic transmission in either open station or cab configuration. Both models, according to company officials, are easy to operate and maintain. They feature a wet sleeve engine and Mahindra's Tier IV solution mCRD has no DPF filter and requires no additional driver involvement or training to operate.

Mahindra 2538 with cab and loader.A company news release indicates that the 2538 model offers 28 percent more three-point lift capacity, more built-in weight for better traction and stability, larger industrial tires and battery, and quick detach loader.

There are two new models now available as part of its Mahindra 1526 line. The 1526 S is available with 8x8 shuttle while the 1526 H comes with three range hydrostatic transmission. Both offer a wider and longer wheel base. Company officials note that the 1526 models offer 38 percent more 3-point lift capacity, 38 percent more loader lift capacity, more built-in weight for better traction and stability and several easy-to-add implements, including backhoe, mid-mower, snow blower, blade and broom.

Mahindra also announced at the meeting in Kansas City that it had updated four tractors in its eMax S line, which have been popular in the low horsepower category.

The four models are the Gear 22, Hydro 22, Hydro 25 and Hydro 25 Cab. They offer 35 percent more three-point left capacity, 9 percent more loader lift capacity and 5 percent more lift height. Traction and stability were improved with more built-in weight and larger tires. And with all-new steel hood and fenders, stronger bodies and unique cab models.
