John Deere 8030 series tractors now available With 31 MPH (50KM/H) transport speedDeere & Company Press Release - August 17, 2006Producers are continuously looking for ways to improve efficiency in their operations. For some, whose operation includes significant material transport applications such as slurry wagons, productivity can be increased with faster maximum transport speeds. As a solution to this customer need, John Deere introduces the new 31 mph (50km/h) Value Package for 8030 Series Tractors.
The 31 mph Value Package includes front Independent Link Suspension (ILS) with wet multi-disk brakes, a hydraulic differential lock, and a fully enclosed driveline. It also requires a 96-inch rear axle with rear air and/or hydraulic implement brakes and faster, single, non-row-crop "B" speed-rated 31 mph tires. "Customers should contact their local John Deere dealer for the proper use and set up of these tractors," says Schwertner. "Depending on the material transport wagon or other pull-behind tools being used, the John Deere dealer can answer implement compatibility questions for the proper hook-up and operation of the tractor/wagon package." | ||
