Case IH expands its tractor line with two new narrow-width, low-profile tractors - the JX1075N and the JX1095N - specifically for use in vineyards, orchards and other tight row crops. "These new Case IH specialty tractors can be used anywhere that space is at a premium," says Rory Chisholm, platform-marketing manager for Case IH specialty tractors.

Both Case IH JXN mechanical front drive (MFD) models measure just 53.4 inches wide, making them ideal for tight spaces. "But don't let the narrow, compact size fool you," Chisholm adds. "These are rugged tractors that are strong enough to tackle heavy-duty chores."

The JX1075N and JX1095N are equipped with efficient, quiet Tier-II emission compliant Case IH engines. "The main difference between models is horsepower," says Chisholm. The JX1075N sports a 3-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 62 PTO horsepower and 37 percent torque rise, while the JX1095N has a 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 80 PTO horsepower and 35 percent torque rise.

A versatile, 16x16 synchronized transmission on both models features ideal ground speed selections in four working ranges - including slower speeds required for precise applications in high-value crops. They can reach a top speed of 17 mph or 30 km/h, depending on tires. Both Case IH JXN models have dedicated left-hand synchronized mechanical shuttle control.

The JX1075N is available with either two-wheel drive (2WD) for maximum maneuverability or MFD for additional traction in adverse conditions. The JX1095N is equipped with MFD as standard equipment.

Both tractors come with a three-point hitch that provides 3,962 pounds of lift capacity, mechanical draft control and a fast raise/lower function that makes operation easy. On MFD versions, 16.9 gallons per minute (GPM) of hydraulic flow are available to the implement - and 12.4 GPM on 2WD versions.

The power take off (PTO) on JXN Series tractors is mechanically engaged using a convenient lever. The JX1075N is equipped with 540 rpm PTO while the JX1095N is equipped with a 540/1000 rpm PTO. Both models feature an independent parking brake.

The JX1075N and JX1095N are available as ROPS open platform or full-cab models. Case IH ROPS platform tractors feature a foldable, mid-mount rollbar, isolation-mounted platform, telescoping steering wheel, and a comfortable seat with operator's presence sensor. Cab models are also isolation mounted with integral ROPS. In addition, JXN cab tractors feature a heater and air conditioner, two external air filters, tinted glass, front and rear wipers and washers, cab doors on both sides with locks, an interior rearview mirror and light, a rear-cab access panel and are radio ready.

"If you have a big job to do with only a narrow space to get it done, Case IH JXN Series tractors offer operators the size, power and flexibility you require," Chisholm says.
