Simplicity NFL Lawn Tractors
Simplicity -Simplicity Manufacturing Inc. has announced the kick-off of a new series of custom lawn tractors that are sure to score big with sports fans around the country.
The company, based in Port Washington, WI, is a leading manufacturer of lawn and garden equipment. The announcement comes following the recent success of Simplicity's limited edition Packer Backer Tractor featuring the logo and colors of the NFL world-champion Green Bay Packers.
"We received such a great response from the Packer Backer model that we believed it made sense to make custom versions of this tractor in other college and professional sports markets across the U.S.," said Tom Fruechtel, president of Simplicity.
"These tractors look great and they perform as well as the teams they represent," said Warner C. Frazier, Simplicity chief executive officer. "They're as tough as a linebacker, as agile as a wide receiver and have the pin-point accuracy of an All-Pro quarterback."
Currently, Simplicity Manufacturing has arrangements to produce versions with the following college and professional football teams sporting their team logo and colors:

- Minnesota Vikings
- University of Michigan Wolverines
- Indianapolis Colts
- Penn State Nittany Lions
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Wisconsin Badgers
- Carolina Panthers
- Iowa Hawkeyes
- Pittsburgh Steelers
The Simplicity Sports Series tractors are equipped with a 38-inch free- floating mower deck, a 14-horsepower engine, automatic drive transmission, and a unique torsion bar suspension system for added traction. They will be available this spring through independent Simplicity dealers.
