Kubota Tractor Corporation introduces its new BX70 Series sub-compact tractors with four ready-to-work models: the BX1870, BX2370, BX2670 and the BX25D. With improved comfort, convenience and operation, Kubota's popular BX series has the power and versatility for digging, hauling, mowing, snow-blowing, tilling, and plowing through yard projects, big or small.

"The focus of improvements to our latest version of these best-selling BX Series tractors was to enhance the operator experience, specifically in comfort, convenience and versatility," says Dan Muramoto, BX and RTV product manager for Kubota. "Whether you are simply mowing the lawn or giving your property a complete landscaping make-over, these rugged and versatile machines will get the job done, more comfortably and more easily than ever before."

An all-new Operator Experience
The new BX70 Series features an array of ergonomic enhancements and convenience adjustments. Cruise control, and a new deluxe, high-back reclining seat with armrests are standard on all models except the BX1870 (optional enhancement). A new steering wheel incorporates a smaller hub and is positioned closer to the operator for better comfort and visibility. The new, easy-to-read dash instrumentation features a large analog tachometer, digital gauges and warning lights. The brake pedal has been repositioned to the left of the spacious, fully-flat floor for easier access and simultaneous HST/brake operation. New optional, adjustable, high-output, 700 lumen 4-LED lights are available with either fender or ROPS mounts, for significantly better visibility when mowing or working after dark.

Kubota BX25D TractorIncreased Versatility, Front to Back
All front loaders for the new BX70-Series tractors have been upgraded to accept an optional "Quick Attach" system. This two-pin system allows quick and easy switching from the standard bucket to two new front attachments — 60 inch straight blade or pallet forks. The popular tractor-mounted hydraulic quick attach remains available, with more attachments such as the best-selling 50 inch front snow blower, rotary broom and blades.

The BX70 Series offers a segment-best selection of five different mid-mount mowers — specifically, 48- and 54-inch standard and fine cut mowers, and a 60 inch standard mower. A key differentiator with the 60-inch standard mower is an integrated center-pivot anti-scalp system, which helps minimize or eliminate scalping or marking of customer lawns from deck protrusion. With six inches of clearance between the ground and the mower – more space than many competitors in its class – the BX-Series easily travels over uneven ground and raised obstacles.

The BX25D's new BT602 backhoe station is designed with arguably the best ergonomics in the segment, with integrated steps and an easy entry/exit design, wide, SAE-rated foldable ROPS for great visibility, deluxe, high-back reclining reversible seat and easy-to-reach levers and controls for extended comfort while operating. In addition, Kubota engineers have added shock-absorbing cushioning valves to the hydraulic circuit to cushion the operator when the backhoe hits its boom or swing maximums. A new optional mechanical thumb is also available to make clean-up jobs a snap.

Don't Let Size Fool You: Kubota's Sub-Compact BX Series Packs a Refined Punch
The new BX-Series tractors are all powered by efficient, three-cylinder Kubota diesel engines, specifically engineered to work seamlessly with Kubota-designed hydrostatic (HST) transmissions. This integral design offers greater torque and an unparalleled, refined power band versus competitive tractors built with multi-sourced, "mix and match" powertrains. The BX1870 and BX2370/BX25D are equipped with 18- and 23-horsepower Kubota diesel engines, while the BX2670 is powered by the Kubota D1105 25.5-horsepower diesel engine. Four-wheel drive with rear-differential lock is standard on all BX models for confidence when working, mowing, snow-blowing, or traveling under a variety of terrain and weather conditions.

Safety First with the BX-Series
A foldable Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS), which meets SAE specifications and provides for safe and efficient operation, is now standard across all BX-Series models. The ROPS easily folds down without tools, allowing the tractor to pass under low-hanging obstructions. (Kubota recommends the ROPS be in the up position during most operations.)
