Producers seeking a more powerful option in the utility tractor market will have two new choices from Case IH. The two new models - JX1085C and JX1095C - will be available at dealerships this fall in ROPS and cab versions. They add a beefier, more powerful top end to the already popular Case IH JXC line of utility tractors.

"Customers asked us to bring more power to the JXC Series and these new models fit the bill perfectly," says Andrew Reinert, product planning manager for Case IH utility and specialty tractors. "In addition to the horsepower boost, we added some extras, which make these units both highly productive and a pleasure to operate."

Maneuverability, versatility, productivity The Case IH JX1085C packs 69 PTO hp into its four-cylinder engine, which also features a 32 percent torque rise rating. This delivers excellent power response at low speeds with enhanced fuel efficiency. With its low-slung design, 86-inch wheelbase and overall length of 157 inches, it's ideally suited for hay making and livestock operations. The JX1085C provides excellent visibility for the operator and maneuverability in close quarters.

Like its sibling, the Case IH JX1095C also features a four-cylinder engine, similar length and wheelbase measurements and optimum visibility. It's turbo-charged engine tops the JXC line with 77 PTO hp and a 37 percent torque rise.

Both models share best-in-class features that deliver more operator comfort and productivity to a variety of tasks. The upgraded cab design provides an improved filtration system, which traps pollen and other allergens before they reach the cab.

In addition to the boost in horsepower, JXC Series productivity is upgraded with a wider selection of transmissions - both mechanical and full-power shuttle are available - and a mid-mount hydraulic valve setup, ideal for loader work.

The perfect team When teamed up with a Case IH LX232 loader, these models become dynamic workhorses around the farmstead. They're ideal for cleaning barns or poultry houses, moving materials, or handling feed and forage. With 3,900 lbs. of breakout force, 2,600 lbs. of full-height lift capacity, and a maximum lift height approaching 10.5 feet, this combination gives you the power and lift capacity you need to complete all your jobs quickly and efficiently. Even more, the optional mechanical self-leveling feature on the LX232 loader further enhances the productivity and dependability of this tandem.

In addition to loader work, the JX1085C and JX1095C handle other tasks with ease including mowing, raking, baling and rotary cutter work, to name a few. Attachments and implements used with the current Case IH JX1075C tractor are fully compatible with the new models.

Ease of operation Although adding more power to the Case IH JXC tractor line was a major driver behind the development of the new models, Reinert is quick to add that ease of operation was an equally important consideration.

"The Case IH JXC cab is comfortable, the displays are laid out in a logical manner and, with the optional, integral joystick control design, operator control is very intuitive and efficient," Reinert says. "That is critical to producers in livestock, poultry, orchard or hay making operations who have to train many operators. These models are easy to operate, which, in turn, helps productivity."

The new JXC Series tractor models may be seen at farm shows this fall and will be available for sale at your local Case IH dealer in mid-November.
