Valtra has updated the S-Series line of tractors. New S-Series tractors now offer 246 or 280 (ISO 14396) horsepower, up from 230 and 260 horsepower previously. The increase in horsepower is Valtra's way of ensuring that the needs of contractors and farmers continue to be met. At the same time, the power output and torque properties of S-Series engines have been improved. New S-Series tractors now produce a broader range of torque, which further increases their versatility.

The updated S-Series also includes a number of other developments. For example, new S-Series tractors now come with a manual hand throttle in addition to cruise control. The new S-Series line of tractors is also now available with a bar-axle for adjusting the track width. This is especially handy for farming rows of varying sizes.

The new S-Series tractor is now on sale throughout Europe.
