The Case 930 General Purpose tractor was introduced in 1964 by putting the engine from the 930 Comfort King into an 830 chassis, creating a row-crop version of the 930. In addition to the row-crop chassis, the 930 GP also uses an eight speed transmission instead of the six speed in the 930 standard.
